The action of the game was moved to a completely new city, which is San Francisco, and during the game we play as Marcus Holloway, a member of a local hacker group called Dedsec. In comparison to the serious and rather grim plot of the first Watch Dogs, the second part of the series approaches the subject at a more relaxed level. The game was released on November 15 on the major eighth-generation consoles, and on November 29 on PC. Watch Dogs 2 was officially announced on June 8, 2016, which is just over two years after the release of the original.
The game is once again the responsibility of Ubisoft's internal studios, led by the Ubisoft Montreal team, which has created such popular series as Far Cry, Assassin's Creed, Prince of Persia, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and the latest installments of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six. In accordance with the concept of the series, similar realities accompany us also in the second part of the series.
